ANDY WARBURTON                                  Role - Records Officer

I first walked with the Leicester Ramblers in 2000 and have been mainly walking on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've always enjoyed walking in the countryside and have been doing this in various forms most of my life.

I have just retired after 42 years working in IT, initially as a software developer and for the last 18 years in Project and Programme Management. I have always kept a technical part of my work going.  Being now retired, I hope to have time to attend more group walks. I live in Kibworth with my partner and have two daughters from my first marriage. 

My other interests including writing and recording instrumental music and this year I've taken on a new allotment (10 years since I last did this). I also enjoy traveling, football, eating out, listening to music (rock though to classical) and going to shows and concerts.
